To grow anything in spring we must nurture the soil, the earth that we have just reaped...
The Tarot Card for today that presented itself during meditation and after shuffling my deck is: Key 0 in the Major Arcana. In the deck I used or this, The Sacred Circle Tarot by Anna Franklin & Paul Mason (Llewellyn, 1998, 2011), the card is entitled “The Green Man” but it is commonly referred to by its Rider-Waite title “The Fool”. What’s the message for us today from Key 0?

The Number 11 has some serious significance in divination across the board. Here's the basic similarities among all of them that speak to the 11-Vibe!
Moving through Autumn, we recall what has happened this year, we tend to evaluate where we're at, look ahead to where we are going, and begin to make some adjustments to our course – hopefully to keep ourselves more on-target, even if it still seems so far away. As we walk into our holiday seasons of gratitude & sharing & compassion, we also prepare to withdraw & take more time for home & family & self. In today's industrialized societies & modern conveniences, we still have work & school, less of a tangible food harvest & not as much for weaving that new blanket this winter and spring clothes… But, we reap our harvest rewards in different ways. We spend holiday & new-year “vacation" times differently. We share generously with communities, groups, family, or friends in different ways.
Perspectives on The Wheel of Fortune, Key X in the Tarot's Major Arcana
The Wheel turns and causes that which is connected to move. There are many philosophies the world over that describe the experience of ups-and-downs and cyclical movements. We use it to describe seasons and time, growth and experiences, our place and direction in this vast universe.
Some folks get very nervous or defensive when certain cards turn up in a Tarot spread. One of the cards that evokes these feelings is the Major Arcana's Devil card, typically Key 15.
But, what's really going on here?
This October New Moon in Scorpio, so close to Halloween, is the perfect time to discuss Key XIII of the Major Arcana, traditionally entitled Death.
The truth of the Death card is in taking the step beyond what was and into what we have chosen.
We center our spotlight on the Tarot - specifically, the Major Arcana’s Key XII entitled (traditionally) The Hanged Man. The attributes of this card include the element of Water and energies from the planet Neptune - in mythology, god of the sea with attributes of war and connections to the Underworld (much like Pluto).
